As some of you might know, our cat Fermi has been having medical issues. To make a long story short, he has a weird ulcerated area on the hard palate that has resisted both diagnosis and treatment until recently. After being referred to a specialist, we've been referred to another specialist. Yesterday, they removed the inflammed tissue with an laser. Once that heals, they'll try to figure out if it's an allergy, since it isn't cancer, a bacterial infection, or a fungal infection. For right now, we're having to give his fluids and syringe-feed him twice a day. :(
