Siren Songs Submission
I finally sent in my submission for Siren Songs, called "A Fool for Love" (yes, I suck at titles!). It came in at 2,462 words, probably the shortest thing I've ever written, lol.

I used to be able to write 1k word short stories. Now I'm having a hard time keeping them under 3k! Although, amazingly enough, "Faerie Queen of Lo Mein" barely broke 2500. Dunno how I did that, and I'd really like to. LOL

SUUUBBBMIIIITT!! Your will and words must SUUBBBBMMMIIIIIIIITT. ;)

I've always struggled with short stories; novels are much easier for me. Of course, the advice young writers always get is to start out with short stories, which filled me with despair when I was younger.

Are you submitting (SUUUUBBBMITT!) to BAF2?

My story is in the hands of one of my classmates who is a/was a lawyer in the NY D.A.'s office. She's fact-checking my opening scene. As soon as I get that back and make the edits, it's off to Dani.

So yes, I'm submitting. :)
